1. Home to Bayfield
Depart this morning for the lovely Apostle Islands and Bayfield, considered to be one of the midwest’s best little towns.  We’ll make a stop at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center before our arrival in Bayfield.  Settle into your hotel for a three night stay.  This evening you are special guests at the Historic Old Rittenhouse Inn, one of the finest eating establishments in Wisconsin.

2. Bayfield
A light breakfast is served at the hotel this morning.  Tour historic Bayfield with a stop at bountiful apple orchards.  Later cruise to Madeline Island for an interesting tour of the island.  Visit the Historical Museum, then enjoy an included lunch at the historic Tavern Pub.  Later take some time for shopping here on the island before we will be returning to the mainland.  Dinner is on your own to choose from one of the local charming restaurants here in Bayfield.

3. Bayfield
A light breakfast is served at the hotel, and then we’re off for a Grand Apostle Island Cruise, featuring views of the lighthouses and sea caves.  A three course included lunch is served at the Village Inn, followed by a tour of Cornucopia, a quaint village that is the Gateway to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore on shores of Lake Superior.

4. Bayfield to Home
Depart Wisconsin for Minnesota’s North Shore and the delightful port city of Duluth in fall season!  Take some time to browse Canal Park and have lunch on your own at one of the area’s great restaurants along the canal.  Arrive home with great memories of Bayfield and Madeline Island’s charm and beauty.
