Day 1 – Home to Leavenworth, KS

Our journey begins as we head south to Leavenworth, Kansas, one of the Midwest’s most historic and charming river towns. In Leavenworth, we’ll stop at the C.W. Parker Carousel Museum, where we’ll not only learn about the fascinating history of these classic rides but also get the chance to hop aboard and relive the joy of a vintage carousel ride! An included dinner wraps up our first evening together. We’ll overnight at the Fairfield Inn, resting up for the excitement ahead.

Day 2 – Leavenworth to Branson, MO

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin the morning with a local step-on guide who will share the fascinating history of Fort Leavenworth, one of the oldest active military posts west of the Mississippi. Then we’re off to Branson in the heart of Ozark Country where we’ll check into our hotel for the next three nights. This evening we’ll have an included dinner and then off to a high energy show by the Haygood’s. This is Branson’s most popular show with its incredible music, amazing special effects and one insanely talented family!

Day 3 – Branson

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we will attend the Down Home Country Show that will get our toes tapping & hands clapping as we step back in time to enjoy the traditional Country classics of George Jones, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Gene Watson and more! Then lunch will be on your own with shopping time. This afternoon we’ll enjoy a cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle where we are privileged to enjoy R&J Exclusive prime Captain’s Row Seating as well as the Captains Club Dinner! Our Captain’s seats are perfect for capturing the fabulous show. Later, three generations will entertain us at the world-class performance by the Dutton Family. This show features big songs we know and love, next-level live musicianship, and laugh-out-loud comedy!

Day 4 – Branson

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then we depart for Top of the Rock and board golf carts for a self-guided tour through the marvelous Lost Canyon Cave, complete with a drive thru bar & beverage station, and along the beautiful Nature Trail. Then, we will enjoy checking out the Museum of the Ancient Ozarks. After lunch on your own, we’re treated to the #1 Hits of the 60’s Show, featuring great hits by the Beatles, Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder, Sonny & Cher, Elvis Presley, The Temptations, the Supremes and many more! After an included dinner, a remarkable evening awaits at the spectacular Sight & Sound Theatre for their stunning biblical production of “Daniel.” Exiled from his homeland into the perilous and royal kingdom of Babylon, Daniel must face intense pressures, golden idols, and shifting empires while choosing to remain steadfast in his faith through landmark events like the fiery furnace and the lion’s den.

Day 5 – Branson to Ottumwa, IA

Breakfast in served before we say goodbye to Branson and head north to Springfield where a guided Jeep-drawn tram tour awaits at the marvelous Fantastic Caverns! We’ll overnight in Ottumwa at the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites and enjoy a BBQ buffet feast.

Day 6 – Ottumwa to Home

On the way home today we’ll visit the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, IA. “There are few buildings in existence today that represent a complete shift in our musical history. As the last concert venue for Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. ‘The Big Bopper’ Richardson, the Surf is the bedrock of where the sound and attitude of rock and roll changed forever.” We’ll explore their new Music Enrichment Center and the Surf Ballroom Museum. A boxed lunch will be served at the Surf Ballroom. Return home with new friendships and fond Branson at Springtime memories!
