Day 1 – Home to Chicago, IL
Over the river and down through the freeway we go on our way to Chicago for a special Christmas experience! If you haven’t gotten into the Christmas Spirit yet, our journey together singing carols and sharing together will get you headed in the right direction! We’ll stop for dinner along the way at a Italian pizzeria. Christmas lights will be shinning in their wintery splendor, welcoming us to the Windy City as we settle in for a three night stay at our hotel, conveniently located in downtown Chicago.

Day 2 – Chicago
After breakfast, we will head to State Street to explore Macy’s, a Great American Department Store established in 1858. Time will be given for this iconic Christmas experience as you take a look at all the store’s special Christmas decorations and maybe pick out that special Christmas present – or two! Then we’re in for an unforgettable afternoon on Lake Michigan aboard a Signature Chicago Lunch Cruise! We’ll enjoy a chef-prepared full buffet lunch as we take in the amazing views of the Chicago skyline. Our live DJ will highlight iconic landmarks along the way as well as entertain us with music – have your dancing shoes on! Next we’ll return to our hotel to freshen up and have dinner on your own at the hotel or at one of the many restaurants within walking distance. Tonight we will board our coach and travel to the Goodman Theatre for the Christmas production, “A Christmas Carol.” This Christmas Classic always touches one’s heart as Scrooge softens with the message of the season. In 2025, the Goodman Theatre celebrated 100 years!

Day 3 – Chicago
Enjoy another breakfast before we head to an even older theatre. The French Baroque-style Chicago Theatre has been showcasing national musicals and comedy acts since 1921! We’re treated to a guided Backstage tour of this incredible place! Next we’ll enjoy time in Daley Plaza at the Christkindlmarket, inspired by the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany! Experience this cherished German and European tradition with international flair as you browse this open air market, filled with many gifts and specialty items to purchase as well as many different food and beverage options to enjoy. Additional Christmas presents bought? Check! Perhaps a festive new decoration for yourself too! Also in Daley Plaza, we’ll have the opportunity to experience the 42nd Chicago Nativity Scene, one of the largest in the world! Then we head back to the hotel to freshen up, preparing us for a special culinary evening ahead! A local guide will board our coach for a Chicago City Progressive Dinner experience! Not only will our guide share about legendary landmarks & buildings along the way, but we’ll be taken to three wonderful restaurants. First we’ll experience tasty appetizers, then moving on is the delicious main course, and we’ll finish with a scrumptious dessert at our last stop!

Day 4 – Chicago to Home
One last breakfast prepares us for our drive home, with lunch and coffee stops on own along the way. We’ll enjoy reminiscing with our new travel friends about the magic of Chicago Christmas Dazzle!
