The Landmark Resort Accommodations
Condominium-style suites with a full kitchen, living room with sofa sleeper, and dining area. Most 2-bed units have the second sleeping area with additional bathroom up a single flight of stairs. While number of beds is guaranteed, suite layouts vary and cannot be chosen nor guaranteed.
Day 1 – Home to Egg Harbor, WI
Our tour begins as we head east through the beautiful, picturesque state of Wisconsin. Along the way, we will stop for a coffee break, lunch on your own, and an included dinner at a log cabin-style restaurant right at home in Door County. Our comfortable home for the next three nights is located near the village of Egg Harbor and nestled in the natural beauty of Door County’s landscape. We’ll settle into our 2-story condo-style units, excited to be in Door County!

Day 2 – Door County
Before we set out for the day, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at the resort. A local step-on guide will join us for the next two days as we tour throughout the peninsula, around the countryside, beside the orchards, and through some of the most beautiful Bay Villages. First we will head to Peninsula State Park where we will get to tour Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. Perched on a bluff 76 feet above Green Bay’s glistening waters, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse’s lamp brought solace to many a sailor suffering through a storm’s gale or the dark of night. Today the tradition of the lighthouse continues. Restored to its past glory, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse is a tribute to the keepers who kept the lamp burning on countless dark and stormy nights. Next we’ll explore the 60 feet high Eagle Tower via the gently sloped canopy walk that winds above the tree line to the top of the tower. From here, we’ll take in the incredible views of Green Bay! We’re now ready for lunch at Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant, a favorite of many! Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a tour at Seaquist Orchard and time to shop their Farm Market. Then a stop at Bjorklunden Chapel, a small wooden church built in the 12th century Norwegian stave church style, will give us a real taste of Norwegian history. Next, we will get to spend some time in the quaint village of Fish Creek followed by one of the best fish boils in Door County! We have chosen a traditional setting dating back to the 1900’s. Returning to our resort, you will have the rest of the evening to relax by a fire pit, hit the pool or courts, or if you’re feeling adventurous, enjoy a scenic walk along Red Loop or Patti’s Path.

Day 3 – Door County
After a satisfying breakfast at our resort, we will meet up with our knowledgeable and fun step-on guide again to see more of the incredible sights of Door County. First, we’ll stop to enjoy the views at picturesque Cave Point County Park. Then we’ll visit the Maritime Museum where the nautical history of Door County will come to life. Lunch is included at the Door County Fire Company, a restaurant located in Sturgeon Bay’s original fire station, followed by some free time to shop. This afternoon we are in for a real treat as we’re guests in an authentic old-time schoolhouse for a private concert! Following the concert, we’ll head to the Door Peninsula Winery where we’ll enjoy tastings and shopping. Then we return to The Landmark for a delicious dinner together. The rest of the evening is at leisure, perhaps you’ll wish to enjoy the pickleball, tennis, and shuffleboard courts!

Day 4 – Egg Harbor to Home
After one more included breakfast at the resort, we will bid farewell to beautiful Door County as we begin our journey home. We will reminisce with our new friends as we traverse the Wisconsin highways back to Minnesota!
