Day 1 – Home to Egg Harbor, WI
Our tour begins as we head east through the beautiful, picturesque state of Wisconsin. Along the way, we will stop for a coffee break, lunch on your own, and an included dinner at a log cabin-style restaurant right at home in Door County. Our comfortable home for the next three nights is located near the Village of Egg Harbor and nestled in the natural beauty of Door County’s landscape. We’ll settle into our condo-style units, excited to be in Door County!

Day 2 – Washington Island
Before we set out for the day, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at the resort. After meeting our step-on guide who will be with us for the next two days, our first stop is the Washington Island Ferry. Enjoy a scenic five-mile cruise over crystal blue waters with views of the surrounding islands, rocky shores, and lush forests. You’re on “Island Time” now! First we will visit and learn all about the lovely & multi-purpose lavender plant during our tour at Fragrant Isle Lavender. Next we will explore Washington Harbor and School House Beach and visit the Stav Church before our included lunch at a local favorite stop. We will also spend a little time shopping at Mann’s Mercantile. Then we head back to The Landmark for a delicious dinner at Carrington, serving American upscale casual cuisine. The rest of the evening is yours at leisure, perhaps you’ll wish to enjoy the pickleball, tennis, and shuffleboards courts!

Day 3 – Door County
After a satisfying breakfast at our resort, we will again meet up with our knowledgeable and fun step-on guide to see more of the incredible sights of Door County. First, we are in for a real treat as we’re guests in an authentic old-time schoolhouse for a private concert! Following the concert, we will stop at Koepsel’s Farm Market for a chance to purchase homemade jams, jellies and other items. Next, we will enjoy lunch at Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant, a favorite of many! Make sure you check to see if the goats are on the roof before heading inside. This afternoon, we will head to Peninsula State Park where we will get to tour Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. Perched on a bluff 76 feet above Green Bay’s glistening waters, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse’s lamp brought solace to many a sailor suffering through a storm’s gale or the dark of night. Today the tradition of the lighthouse continues. Restored to its past glory, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse is a tribute to the keepers who kept the lamp burning on many a dark and stormy night. Next, we will get to spend some time in the quaint village of Fish Creek followed by one of the best fish boils in Door County! We have chosen a traditional setting dating back to the 1900’s. Returning to our resort, you will have the rest of the evening to relax by a fire pit, hit the pool or courts, or if you’re feeling adventurous, enjoy a scenic walk along Red Loop or Patti’s Path.

Day 4 – Egg Harbor to Home
After one more included breakfast at the resort, we will bid farewell to beautiful Door County as we begin our journey home. We will reminisce with our new friends as we traverse the Wisconsin highways back to Minnesota!
