Day 1 – Home to Galveston, TX
As we escape Minnesota’s cold and fly into Houston, we’ll make our way to Galveston with a stop at Buc-ee’s along the way. Have fun picking out any items you may need for the next week in this unique convenience store. We’ll check into elegance at The Tremont House, a beautifully restored historic hotel nestled in the heart of the Strand Historic District. Blending 19th-century charm with modern comforts, this landmark property welcomes guests with its grand architecture, inviting atmosphere, and rich sense of history. Plus we’ll be just steps away from Galveston’s shops, galleries, and waterfront attractions. We’ll easily settle into our lovely rooms, featuring high ceilings, for a two night stay. Tonight we depart for our Welcome Dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf, where we’ll savor the scrumptious cuisine as well as the views of the bay!

Day 2 – Galveston
Our morning starts off by experiencing the stories of yesterday with a visit to The Bryan Museum, where the history of Texas and the American West comes vividly to life through world-class collections and engaging exhibitions. Next, we’ll savor Galveston on the Taste of the Strand Food Tour in the city’s historic Strand Historic District. As we stroll past beautifully preserve 19th century buildings, we’ll stop at several local eateries to sample a variety of island favorites, from Gulf Coast seafood to sweet treats. Along the way, our guide shares stories of Galveston’s rich history and vibrant culture, making this a delicious and entertaining way to experience the city! This afternoon we will tour historic Galveston from a different perspective via a prototype of the famed 1908 Ford Model-T. This golf cart vehicle truly pays homage to Henry Ford, retaining much of his noble and charming vision – what fun! This evening we’ll gather for dinner at Katie’s Seafood House, a local favorite located on Historic Pier 19, known for serving some of the freshest Gulf Seafood that’s as unforgettable as the waterfront views!

Day 3 – Galveston to Ship Embarkation
Today enjoy a breakfast of leisure in our luxurious surroundings. The morning is yours to continue exploring the historic downtown district of Galveston. This afternoon we’ll head to the port to board our Royal Caribbean ship and begin our fabulous 5-night cruise through the beautiful waters of Western Caribbean, bound for the tropical island of Cozumel! Take time to get acquainted with the ship, settle into your outside stateroom with its private balcony, have your first dining experience onboard, and enjoy the views as we set sail!

Day 4 – At Sea
There are so many options of fun activities and delicious food to enjoy today as we cruise along. Feeling active? Grab your tennis shoes for pickleball, the fitness center, dance lessons or mini-golf. Feeling crafty? Try the jewerly making or towel folding artistry classes. Feeling adventurous? Head to the ice skating rink or The Typhoon & Cyclone, the boldest waterslides at sea! Feeling musical? Take in the live bands, piano player, or remarkable shows. Feeling lucky? The arcade and game shows are waiting. Feeling relaxful? There’s amplified pool deck loungers for soaking up the sun, delve into a page-turner at the Library, enjoy peace in the Solarium pool, or bask in the warmth of the whirpools! Don’t forget about the wide range of complimentary culinary delights to choose from: Main Dining Room, Windjammer Cafe, Cafe Promenade, El Loco Fresh, and more! If you’re looking for a speciality restaurant at your own expense, the Liberty boasts anything from a signature steakhouse to room service to Starbucks.

Day 5 – Puerto Costa Maya
Past meets present in Puerto Costa Maya, our port of call for the day. You may choose to purchase an excursion to venture into the jungle for a glimpse of Maya history as your guide takes you through the Chacchoben and Kohunlich ruins and shows you their temples and once-magnificent gardens. Or you can simply kick back in the village of Mahahual, where you can hit the pristine, white sandy beach. The best of both worlds awaits. Back aboard the Liberty of the Seas, you may choose to enjoy an elegant dinner at the Chef’s Table, or to grab something light from the Windjammer Cafe. If fresh, Far East flavors prepared right at the table are calling your name, then head to Izumi Teppanyaki. Perhaps a shake, burger, and fries at Johnny Rockets is right up your alley. Did someone say “Old World flavor?” Giovanni Table it is! Then there’s the Cupcake Cupboard, Sorrento’s Pizza, Chops Grille, and more – so many tasty options to choose from!

Day 6 – Cozumel
The entire day can be spent on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Cozumel, blending Mexican culture with Caribbean vibes. There are a number of optional excursions here also: You can explore its Maya roots in Tulum, discover a secret world of sea life as you snorkel beneath the waves in Chankanaab, experience a dolphin encounter, and more. Or perhaps you wish to just wander the island and enjoy the tropical beauty. From savoring their culture to soaking up sunshine, you’ll find a world of adventure waiting for you in beathtaking Cozumel!

Day 7 – At Sea
It’s another day at sea to enjoy the amenities of our spectacular ship. Have you taken in the Broadway musical yet or the soaring spectacular show, “In the Air?” Speaking of shows and music – don’t forget to put on your boogie shoes as you follow young Brooklynite in the 1970s in Saturday Night Fever! Did you know the Main Theatre boasts a live orchestra at every performance? Then there’s solving clever riddles and secret codes in the Art of Escape room. How about being awed by jumps, spins, and lifts during an ice show? Perhaps you wish to play another round of pickleball or to just relax at one of the sparkling pools, soaking up the sun or enjoying a great book. Enjoy as many fun activities, grand entertainment, and scrumptious food as you’d like today!

Day 8 – Disembark/Galveston to Home
On the final morning, we’ll arrive back in port, where a comfortable transfer will take us to the airport. As we fly home, we’ll carry with us all the sights, flavors, and unforgettable memories From Galveston’s Shores to Caribbean Seas!
