Day 1 – Home to Las Vegas, NV
We begin our tour with a non-stop flight to Las Vegas. Get ready for a sweet stop at Ethel M Chocolates. Our Ethel M Chocolate Tasting Experience includes a bit of education on how chocolate is sourced, refined and produced, as well as the subtleties of chocolate tasting and flavor identification. Afterward, we’ll be an honorary chocolatier with a certificate to prove it! There will be time for shopping so you can stock up and keep your sweet tooth satisfied. Then we’ll step outside to Ethel’s Botanical Cactus Garden, which is Nevada’s largest cactus garden and one of the most prolific collections of its kind. Their 3-acre garden features more than 300 species of plants, including cacti and succulents native to the American Southwest as well as desert trees and shrubs from the Southwestern United States, Australia, and South America. Each of the plants were carefully selected for the beauty of their floral displays and their ability to adapt to and thrive in the climate of the Mojave Desert. Then we’ll continue our drive east to our lakeside hotel and easily settle into the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort for a 4-night stay. Not only is our Mediterranean-style oasis situated on the shores of Lake Las Vegas, it’s also surrounded by the Mojave’s mountains and desert. We’ll enjoy the convenience of being adjacent to Monte Lago, a Tuscan-inspired village with a marina and shops. A Welcome Dinner is served this evening as we get to know one another.

Day 2 – Las Vegas
Breakfast is included at the resort this morning. Then we will begin our day with a step guide who is excited to show us so much about Nevada that we did not know before. First we’ll visit Valley of the Fire State Park, which is world-renowned for its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone outcrops nestled in gray and tan limestone. Valley of Fire State Park contains ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years. There’s much to learn through the Visitor Center’s exhibits on the geology, ecology, prehistory and history of the park and nearby region. A special picnic lunch is planned here at the park. Next our guide takes us to the Lost City Museum, where artifacts tell a fascinating story of another time, when an ancient civilization traveled through and lived in modern-day southern Nevada for centuries. Archaeologists have worked tirelessly for decades to uncover and study these pieces of the past, giving us a glimpse of what life would’ve been like for the first Native Nevadans in the exotic Mojave Desert. We will refresh at the hotel before we make our way to a unique dinner theatre. The Firelight Barn is servin’ up mouthwatering, Chuckwagon style BBQ and award-winning entertainment with Mama’s Wranglers, the Jackson Family Band & Cloggers!
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3 – Las Vegas
After breakfast at the resort, we’ll depart for the Hoover Dam Visitor Center and Power Plant. The incredible Hoover Dam is a testimony to our country’s ability to construct monolithic projects in the midst of adverse conditions. Built during the Depression when thousands of men and their families came to Black Canyon to tame the Colorado River. It took less than five years, in a harsh and barren land, to build the largest dam of its time. Now, years later, Hoover Dam still stands as a world-renowned structure. The Dam is a National Historic Landmark and has been rated by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of America’s Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders. A scenic lunch awaits at the Lake Mead Marina, the oldest marina on Lake Mead. This afternoon we’re treated to a relaxing tour aboard the famed Desert Princess. Built specially to cruise the clean, blue waters of picturesque Lake Mead and tour the Hoover Dam, this authentic, three-level, Mississippi-style paddle wheeler offers an unrivaled sightseeing experience. Enjoy the wind in your hair, the sun on your face, or the absolute comfort of the climate-controlled enclosed decks – surrounded by breathtaking scenery! Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a great evening at the Las Vegas Distillery, complete with a distillery tour and a delicious dinner!
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4 – Las Vegas
Breakfast is served at the resort before we head into the city to meet our local guide at the famous “WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS” sign – have your cameras ready! Get ready for a guided city tour of Las Vegas, including a city tour of downtown, the strip, and so much more. Lunch will be on your own in the downtown area. Now it is time to see Las Vegas from a different view. The High Roller Wheel ride is one that you will not want to miss! We will soar 550 feet above the center of the Las Vegas Strip on the largest observation wheel in North America. With sweeping 360-degree views, the wheel takes 30 minutes to complete one revolution and features 28 spacious cabins for our comfort. Afterwards, a farewell dinner will be served at the Battista’s Hole in the Wall Restaurant. As we enter, we’ll be stepping back in time to the glory days of Vegas. We are talking old Vegas with Sinatra and the Rat Pack. The Vegas where customer service was king. Vegas’ storied history lines every wall in Battista’s. Tonight, we are guests for the best show in Vegas at the Bellagio “O” by Cirque du Soleil. Witness as world-class acrobats, artistic swimmers, divers, and characters interact with the incoming tides, downpours, and storms as elements clash on stage. From flying ships with soaring soldiers to daring leaps and dancing zebras, we’ll be taken on a journey of love and danger, adventure and courage, purity and impermanence. As a river runs its course, so does the story of “O” through the ever-changing nature of water in its purist form.
