San Francisco Getaway

This little getaway features the “must see” sights of beautiful San Francisco.  Stay at the lovely Hilton Hotel located in famous Fisherman’s Wharf, surrounded by the bustling wharf, waterfront restaurants and attractions. San Francisco, one of the world’s most beautiful cities, is a great place to “get away.”   Embark on a sightseeing tour including the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown and the famous cable cars ending with a spectacular cruise across San Francisco Bay.  Visit world famous Napa Valley and ride the Napa Valley Wine Train, featuring beautiful scenery and spectacular food!

Day 1 – Home to San Francisco
Today we board our flight to San Francisco, one of the most exciting and beautiful cities in the world!  This morning enjoy a city tour of San Francisco, famous for it’s spectacular natural harbor, charming parks, cable cars, and bustling docks.  This evening we’ll be treated to a wonderful get-acquainted dinner at a local favorite restaurant!

Day 2 – San Francisco
Stop at Twin Peaks for a scenic overview before lunch on our own at Pier 39 with its many charming restaurants and cafes!  Later enjoy a narrated cruise on the famous San Francisco Bay with sights of Alcatraz on the horizon. Take time to ride the cable cars, visit Chinatown, Union Square, and Market Street.  Leisure time is given this afternoon to pursue your own interests.  Some may want to check out the many famous waterfront restaurants that surround the hotel.

Day 3 – San Francisco
This morning we drive over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge and visit the pristine waterfront community of Sausalito.  Enjoy a bit of free time to explore the quaint Mediterranean-style village with it’s shops, galleries, and breathtaking views.  Motor through beautiful rolling countryside dotted with grapevines as we past through Sonoma and on into Napa.  We’ll board the luxurious Pullman lounge car and relive the days of elegant rail travel while enjoying a sumptuous three-course lunch on board.  This extraordinary train ride through Napa Valley Wine Country will be a memory you will long remember.  Return to San Francisco and join us for a farewell dinner celebration at a local favorite restaurant.
