Day 1 – Home to Moline, IL
Enjoy getting to know your traveling companions as we travel today to Moline. We’ll freshen up after checking into our hotel. Then we’re guests aboard the Celebration Belle for a delightful dinner cruise on the mighty Mississippi River!

Day 2 – Moline to Shipshewana, IN
Following breakfast at our hotel, we’ll continue our journey towards Shipshewana with lunch on our own along the way. As we make our way into charming Shipshewana, keep a look out for Amish buggies and Amish family farms. The goodness of Shipshewana will become evident over the next couple days as we immerse ourselves in their genuine Amish hospitality, amazing homecooked food, and great Gospel music! We’ll check into the Blue Gate Garden Inn for two nights. After a delicious family-style dinner, we are guests at two Gospel music shows this evening. The first show features Duane Allen, a member of The Oak Ridge Boys, and his daughter’s family group called Rockland Road. This powerhouse group – who can play 23 different instruments – features soulful vocals imbued with a pure, exuberant joy! Up next we’ll hear from another Oak Ridge Boys member’s group, William Lee Golden and The Goldens. From revered gospel classics to beloved country gems and iconic rock favorites, Golden leads his talented family through the songs that have been stepping stones on his well-traveled musical journey.

Day 3 – Shipshewana
Breakfast is included before we head out on a half day Amish tour. In a region with the best food and homemade goods, this tour taps into decades of experience to bring us the best of the best! At every point we will experience Amish small business at its finest. Then homemade goodness will melt in our mouths as we’re guests for lunch at an Amish home! This afternoon more Gospel goodness is headed our way as we enjoy music by three different artists. First is Joseph Habedank, an acclaimed Christian music artist whose songs proclaim the hope that is greater than addiction, the relationship that far exceeds religion, and that Jesus is the change. Next up is Lynda Randle! Seamlessly traversing a range of genres, singer/songwriter, author, speaker, and television personality Lynda Randle is one of Christian music’s most ditinct voices. Lastly, we’ll be entertained by Grammy & Dove Award-winning artist Guy Penrod. With his rasp-tinged country style vocals, Guy is a man of character on stage and off, living a life of faith, loving others and capping it off with a warm-hearted grin. Dinner will be served family style with some of your favorite pies for dessert. Then we will enjoy the musical production of “Josiah for President.” When former Congressman Mark tries to get a plain man of faith, Josiah Stoltzfus, to be a new candidate for Presidency with his old-fashioned common sense and strong work ethic, Mark ends up learning more from Josiah in a few hours than in his many years in office.

Day 4 – Shipshewana to Hammond, IN
Have a wonderful breakfast before enjoying a free morning to shop in Shipshewana’s speciality stores, ride in a buggy, or just enjoy strolling around the lovely town. A buffet lunch will be served at the Blue Gate Restaurant, and of course a great piece of pie is in store! Up next is a fantastic Gospel show by the Gaither Vocal Band. With their powerhouse vocals, innovative harmonies, and life-altering message of grace, hope, and redemption, the Gaither Vocal Band is incomparable! What a wonderful way to end our time in Shipshewana before we depart for Hammond, IN, where we will check into the Holiday Inn Express.

Day 5 – Hammond to Home
After breakfast we will make our way home. There will be time to reminisce about the fantastic time we have had together – all the wonderful Amish things we have experienced, the delicious food we’ve partaken in, and the amazing entertainment we’ve enjoyed!
