Day 1 – Home to Delavan, WI

Off we go, traveling through the rolling hills of Wisconsin to Delavan, where we’ll check into the charming Lake Lawn Resort. Situated along two miles of Delavan Lake’s shoreline, Lake Lawn Resort has welcomed guests for over 140 years! Tonight, we dine at the Rosewood, followed by their “Sweet Inspiration” show, a celebration of spiritual music that has become the soundtrack for the owner’s personal journey. They’ll blend musical styles and genres into a variety of songs and stories of joy, hope and self-reflection that will mend the broken heart, stir the spirit and renew the soul.

Day 2 – Delavan to Shipshewana, IN

Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning before we board our coach for Shipshewana’s charming Amish country. After getting settled into our rooms for the next three nights, we’re guests for the new musical, “A Simple Sanctuary.” She prayed the day would never come, but when her past comes calling, Melissa James has no choice but to flee. Pursued and living on the run, she finds desperate sanctuary and surprising friendship in Amish country. Part suspense, part romance, A Simple Sanctuary is a compelling story of love tested, the cost of freedom, and the solace found in true community. Day 3 – Shipshewana

A delicious breakfast spread starts our day off great! This morning we will visit the Menno-Hof Museum, where we’ll learn about the faith and life of Hutterites, Amish, and Mennonites! Menno-Hof’s multi-image presentations, historical environments, and colorful displays take us on a fascinating journey inside the unique world of the Hutterites, Amish, and Mennonites. Then we’ll have some free time in downtown Shipshewana for some lunch, shopping, buggy rides, or checking out the fully restored antique carousel inside the Davis Mercantile building. This afternoon we’ll attend a fantastic Gospel show by the Gaither Vocal Band! With their powerhouse vocals, innovative harmonies, and life-altering message of grace, hope, and redemption, the Gaither Vocal Band is incomparable! Tonight, a mouth-watering buffet awaits at the Blue Gate Restaurant – we promise you won’t leave hungry!

Day 4 – Shipshewana

After another delightful Blue Gate breakfast, we will depart for a half-day guided Amish Tour. In a region with the best food and homemade goods, this tour taps into decades of experience to bring us the best of the best! At every point we will experience Amish small business at its finest. Then homemade goodness will melt in our mouths as we’re guests for lunch at an Amish home! A unique and special dining experience for sure! This afternoon, we’ll have additional time for shopping at Shipshewana’s quaint stores. Gathering together, we’ll enjoy another delicious Blue Gate buffet dinner. Next up is a concert by the Oak Ridge Boys! With their phenomenal harmonies and an amazing career that’s spanned several decades, they are true country legends!

Day 5 – Shipshewana to Fort Atkinson, WI

Rise & shine for one last Blue Gate breakfast before we travel to Fort Atkinson, WI. After checking into our hotel, a fantastic dinner awaits at the Fireside Dinner Theatre, followed by their production of “Million Dollar Quartet!” On December 4, 1956, an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions of all time. “Million Dollar Quartet” brings that legendary December night to life with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal, and celebrations that is both poignant and funny. Relive the era with an incredible score of rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B, and country hits all performed live. Featuring such hit songs as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Hound Dog,” and many more.
