During our tour, we have 5 free days so you can go exploring with your golf cart and have a new adventure each day.
Day 1 – Home to The Villages, FL
Today we fly south for two weeks of sunshine! After landing in Orlando, we’ll head to The Villages’ Paddock Square Brownwood and check into The Brownwood Hotel & Spa for 14 wonderful nights! As The Villages’ only premier AAA 4-diamond hotel, we’ll easily settle into our comfortable rooms that embrace the history of the Floridian cowboy. A special Welcome Dinner tonight will not only help us get acquainted with one another but also with this unique community and our journey of leisure and discovery ahead!

Day 2 – The Villages
We’ll start out our day with an included breakfast. Then it’s time to go pick up our new Florida wheels – golf carts! (Note: one golf cart is included per room; waiver required.) Tour Director, Jodi, will assist each Traveler in downloading and using a special Villages phone app that will make navigating the golf cart roads a breeze. Just select which town square, restaurant, championship golf course, Walgreens, and so much more you wish to go to, and the app will take you right there! You’re now all ready to start cruising the charming community like a local and begin exploring all The Villages has to offer.

Day 3 – RJ Gators Lunch Excursion
Good morning sunshine! We’ll gather mid-morning to set out on a fun, meandering golf cart journey to our mouthwatering lunch at RJ Gators. Located right on the picturesque waterfront of Lake Sumter Landing, it’s the perfect place to unwind as we dine on delicious seafood or American favorites! When you are finished eating, feel free to set off with your golf cart back to the hotel or continue exploring The Villages. An great option before you depart is to take a cruise on Lake Sumter ($3 per person on own) to learn the legends of how Lake Sumter came to be. Cameras and binoculars are encouraged as you’re sure to spot some wildlife and wish to capture the breathtaking views! Every evening, there is free live entertainment at each of the town squares to enjoy!

Day 4 – Crab Plant Tour & Homosassa Springs
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a step-on guides joins us for the day. We’ll travel to Crystal River where we’ll discover authentic Florida at The Crab Plant, a working seafood market. We will see how fresh catches are prepared before enjoying a delicious local lunch. Next our guide takes us to beautiful Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Experience the Underwater Observatory, also known as “The Fish Bowl,” that floats in the main natural spring. As we “walk underwater,” we’ll get an up-close view of the gorgeous water, seasonal schools of fish, and hopefully adorable manatees! We’ll also stroll the Wildlife Trail to see black bears, red wolves, flamingos, alligators, and more. Returning to Brownwood, the evening is free to relax or perhaps enjoy more live entertainment at the town square.

Day 5 – FREE DAY
Happy Sunday! Feel free to consult the map of churches Jodi gave you and take your golf cart to a church of your choosing this morning. This is a free day and your options are endless. Perhaps you wish to lounge in one of the hotel’s poolside cabanas with a great book or take your golf cart to one of the many restaurants serving up delicious food. Or how about a round of golf at one of the championship courses?! (golf at own expense) Don’t forget to enjoy the live entertainment tonight!
Day 6 – FREE DAY
Today is another leisure day! If you’re looking for something to do, Jodi has optional group outings via golf cart available each of our free days. Some examples of these optional outings include: live shows (there’s a variety!), eco-boat tour, picking a restaurants in another square to experience together – the list goes on…
Day 7 – Kennedy Space Center & Polynesian Luau
After a satisfying breakfast, we make our way to the east coast to legendary Kennedy Space Center, the heart of America’s space program and one of the most inspiring destinations in the world. We’ll walk among towering rockets, experience interactive exhibits, and learn about NASA’s past, present, and future missions. From the Space Shuttle Atlantis to immersive simulators and astronaut encounters, this visit offers a powerful and unforgettable look into space exploration. Lunch is on your own here. After a full day at Kennedy Space Center, we are in for a special treat this evening in Kissimmee at the Polynesian Fire Luau. As we step inside this indoor, beautifully-themed Polynesian venue featuring a cascading waterfall, tropical decor, and a welcoming island atmosphere, we’ll know we have a special evening ahead! A live Polynesian band will serenade us as we enjoy the delicious buffet. Then, through captivating dance, we’ll be taken on a journey across the Polynesian islands, culminating in a thrilling fire knife finale that will bring our night to an unforgettable close!

Day 8 – FREE DAY
If you haven’t gone shopping yet, perhaps this free day you’ll wish to browse the many great shopping stores throughout The Villages. Again, Jodi is available to direct you on ideas and will have optional group outings you may choose to join. Taking your golf cart to visit a new town square for their live entertainment tonight?
Day 9 – Dooley Groves & FL Conservation Tech. Center
An included breakfast begins our day. Then we’ll experience the charm of Dooley Groves, a family-owned citrus farm renowned for its premium Honeybell oranges – one of Florida’s most prized seasonal fruits. Stroll through the groves, learn about the cultivation and harvesting process, and enjoy sampling some of the freshest, juiciest citrus available. This visit offers a true taste of Florida agriculture along with insight into the traditions and care behind citrus farming. Learn how farming and technology work together to support Florida’s environment and economy. You may wish to pick & purchase your own Honeybells! Next up is a stop at Florida Conservation & Technology Center, where a variety of experiences await. Head to the Manatee Viewing Center, climb 50 ft up the Wildlife Obervation Tower for a stunning view across Tampa Bay, learn about sea turtles as they’re nursed back to health at the Sea Turtle Hospital, and more!

Day 10 – FREE DAY
It’s another free day. Perhaps you wish to enjoy an early morning swim at the hotel, play another round of golf at one of the championship courses, set your Villages app to a new destination and enjoy the ride to get there – yondering with your golf cart is easy, fun, and full of charming sights! Tonight might be perfect for dancing under the stars in a town square!
Day 11 – World Equestrian Center & Live Horse Auction
Breakfast is served at the hotel, then we will meet our local guide for a full day of experiencing horses! We’ll receive a great taste of Florida’s western heritage with a visit to the World Equestrian Center in Ocala. Our guide will give us a tour of this incredible center as we step into the world of equestrian excellence. Next our guide takes us to a horse farm where we’ll experience the excitement of visiting a horse auction site. Then we return to the World Equestrian Center to enjoy one of the many tasty dining options for lunch on our own, explore this working equestrian facility with its many barns, indoor arenas, and shops. Be sure to watch the skilled riders putting on a world-class show in the Grand Outdoor Arena! Before we depart, if you’re craving a sweet, be sure to visit Miss Tilly’s Lollipops for some handcrafted fudge or ice cream. Feeling like a taste of Europe? Then delightful pastries are in store at Emma’s Patisserie! We’ll return to Brownwood later this afternoon.

Day 12 – FREE DAY
Today is our last free day. Have you visited our hotel’s fitness center yet? You may wish to spend time getting your heart rate up on a treadmill or an elliptical machine. Perhaps you just wish to soak up the Florida sunshine by the pool. Shopping time? Another round of golf? Don’t forget about all the entertainment options and venues – perhaps a Broadway-style show, a comedian, or a ventriloquist is being performed today. As usual, Jodi will have group outings via golf cart if you wish to join. For dinner, the renowned Wolfgang Puck Kitchen & Bar right at our hotel is a great option!
Day 13 – Airboat Tour & Museum of Drag Racing
Breakfast will fuel us this morning for our adventure in nature. As we set out across Florida’s wetlands on Tom & Jerry’s Airboat Ride, we’ll feel the thrill of gliding on the water. We’ll learn about this unique ecosystem as we have our cameras ready to capture the wildlife spottings! After lunch on our own, we’ll visit the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing. This fascinating museum is filled with vintage race cars and drag racing history. Back at The Villages, this evening is your last opportunity to enjoy live entertainment at a town square.

Day 14 – The Villages & Whispering Oaks Winery
Enjoy breakfast and a last morning to zip around on your golf cart. This afternoon we return our Florida wheels before a wonderful evening is in store at Whispering Oaks Winery. We’ll celebrate our final evening with a relaxing winery experience featuring a tour of this unique blueberry winemaking farm, a 4-flight tasting, a delicious buffet dinner, and a talented singer/songwriter providing entertainment!

Day 15 – The Villages to Home
One last breakfast is served at the hotel before we head back to Orlando and catch our flight for home. What a memorable journey of leisure & discovery we’ve shared around The Villages of Florida!
