DAY 1 – Home to Sturgeon Bay
Pass through the St. Croix Valley and across Wisconsin to Sturgeon Bay and Door County. R & J Tours has chosen the beautiful Stone Harbor Resort set on the waterfront in the heart of downtown Sturgeon Bay Village. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner at the resort with your new traveling friends.

DAY 2 – Sturgeon Bay
Our local step-on guide joins us for the next two days. Tour the peninsula, countryside, along the lake villages, beside the orchards, to the “Top of the Thumb,” and back along the Bay Villages. Highlights of the day will be the west side of Sturgeon Bay, shipyards and Michigan Canal. Visit Cave Point & Whitefish Dunes State Park. We’ll stop at a charming little school house for a private piano concert before lunch at famous Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant. Visit Door County’s Seaquist Farm Market for an interesting tour. Other highlights include Northport Pier and a stop at Gills Rock.

DAY 3 – Sturgeon Bay
Our local guide joins us again for another great day of touring. Our first stop will be the Maritime Museum where the nautical history of Door County will come to life. Stop at the precious Old Rugged Cross. We’ll stop at the Canal and take some time to walk out onto the breakwall. Later, drive along Scenic Bay Shore Drive, seeing many sights along the way. Stop in historic Egg Harbor with time for some shopping and lunch on your own. We’ll make a stop at Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and spend time in the quaint village of Fish Creek. Enjoy some time tonight experiencing one of the best fish boils in Door County. We have chosen a traditional setting dating back to the 1900’s.

DAY 4 – Sturgeon Bay to Home
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning and take one last walk along the marina. Bid good-bye to beautiful Door County, the “Cape Cod of the Midwest.” Enjoy the company of traveling friends as we make our way home!
