Day 1 – Home to Quincy, IL
Today we begin our journey south in hopes of sunshine! Enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the Town & Country Inn in Quincy, IL where we will be spending the night.

Day 2 – Quincy to Memphis, TN
After breakfast, it’s a travel day to Memphis where we’ll check into the lovely Guest House at Graceland for two nights. Tonight, a relaxing dinner featuring classic Southern cooking is served at Delta Kitchen, right at the Guest House at Graceland.

Day 3 – Memphis
Good morning Graceland! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before our morning of exploring this legendary estate begins! We’ll start off learning about the personal side of Elvis Presley with an interactive iPad tour of the Graceland Mansion, hosted by John Stamos and featuring commentary and stories by Elvis and his daughter, Lisa Marie. Graceland is so much more than a mansion. It was the private retreat of the King of Rock ‘n Roll. It was where his family grew up, spent their time together and enjoyed life. Our tour includes the living room, his parents’ bedroom, the kitchen, TV room, pool room, the famous Jungle Room, his father’s office, the newly-enhanced Trophy Building, the Racquetball Building – newly-restored to how it looked in 1977, and the Meditation Garden. The remainder of the morning is free for immersing yourself in Elvis’ life and legacy. See his private jets, his amazing collection of gold and platinum records, his stagewear including jumpsuits, his favorite automobiles including his iconic Pink Cadillac, and so much more! Afterwards, we’ll head to Beale Street, the heart of the city’s blues and rock ‘n’ roll heritage, for lunch on our own. This afternoon, the Home of the Blues comes alive with the help of our local guide, who is a professional Beale Street musician, who will play and sing selections from the city’s rich musical heritage, while entertaining us with comedy, history, and behind-the-scenes stories of our favorite Memphis personalities. Along the way, we will see Beale Street, The Lorraine Motel, Cotton Row, Historic Central Gardens, Stax Studio, the early homes of Elvis, B.B. King, and Johnny Cash, and much more! Then we’ll head to the Rock ’n’ Soul Museum, which tells the story of the musical pioneers who overcame racial and socio-economic obstacles to create the music that changed the cultural complexion of the world. We’ll cap off the day with a mouthwatering dinner at an amazing Memphis BBQ restaurant.

Day 4 – Memphis to Panama City Beach, FL
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we travel to sunny Florida where sandy white beaches await us! Check into the Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach, our home on the beachfront for the next 5 nights! We’ll happily settle into our balcony rooms with grand views of the Gulf! Enjoy a welcome dinner as we continue to get to know our new traveling friends. Tonight at the hotel, we’ll be treated to private dinner music by the fabulous Tony Sparks, a great way to unwind after our day of travel!

Day 5 – Panama City Beach
This morning after breakfast we head out to explore Pier Park. Home to premier, fantastic shopping, you’ll find great items to complete your wardrobe or decorate your home! Pier Park has great options to choose for lunch, ranging from quick bites to upscale experiences. Ford’s Garage is a fun, car-themed restaurant with signature burgers you might want to check out! Afterwards, we’ll set out to visit the Duplin Winery and sample their award-winning sipping wines. Duplin is known for “cool, sweet & easy.” While relaxing on their porch, we’ll be entertained with live music. Afterwards, we’ll have a nice dinner at the Wicked Wheel. If weather permits, we’ll experience the PCB Wheel at night! Towering nearly 200-feet above the Gulf’s emerald green waters, the fully enclosed gondolas give us a perspective of all the beauty the Panama City Beach coastline has to offer. It’s magnificent at nighttime!

Day 6 – Panama City Beach / St. Andrews
We’ll start off our day with an informative walking tour around historic St. Andrews, led by docents from The Panama City Publishing Company Museum. Our tour includes a stop at their museum, giving us an appreciation of how newspapers of old were created. We’ll also enjoy time to explore this quaint coastal community and have lunch on our own. Next, we’ll have an exciting time with a scenic sightseeing and dolphin cruise aboard the Sea Screamer. Enjoy the Captain’s informative narration as we cruise along the coastline, around Shell Island and the inland waters of St. Andrews Bay. Then we’ll head back to our hotel to refresh before dinner at Dat Cajun Place where there is great food and often live music.

Day 7 – Panama City Beach / Wakulla Springs
After a satisfying breakfast we make our way to scenic Wakulla Springs that boasts manatees, alligators and other wildlife. Wakulla Springs State Park is one of the world’s largest and deepest freshwater springs. We will enjoy a riverboat ride to view the sapphire waters, aquatic wildlife and an abundance of bird life. After an included lunch at the historic Lodge, we will make our way back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the afternoon & evening on your own. Perhaps you’ll choose to take a stroll on the sandy beach, hunt for shells, and capture the sunset!

Day 8 – Panama City Beach
After a leisurely breakfast, this morning and afternoon is yours to simply relax and enjoy the beach, resort amenities, and surrounding area. Tonight we’re treated to the brand new, exciting Dolly Parton Pirates Voyage Dinner Show! They’ll serve up a hearty pirate feast that will satisfy the hungriest pirates and landlubbers. As Dolly says, “There will be pirates, mermaids, exciting acrobatics, pyrotechnics, and even a few songs that I wrote – it’s a show everyone in the family is going to love. Everyone knows I dream big, so we are definitely going ‘overboard’ with the details as we get started!”

Day 9 – Panama City Beach to Columbia, TN
We’ll bid Panama City Beach and our wonderful beachfront hotel goodbye this morning as we travel to Columbia and settle in for a restful night.

Day 10 – Columbia to Bloomington, IL
Breakfast is served before we depart for Illinois today, taking in the changing landscapes as we motor along. We’ll overnight in Bloomington, IL, where a Farewell Dinner will be enjoyed right at the hotel. This is a perfect time to share with our new travel friends all of the wonderful experiences had and memories made during our trip.

Day 11 – Bloomington to Home
After breakfast this morning we make our final stretch home with lunch and coffee breaks along the way. Our hearts are filled with grand memories of our Sunny Jaunt to Panama City Beach!
