Day 1 – Home to Overland Park, KS
Depart this morning with lunch and coffee breaks along the way. Arrive in Overland Park, KS. Enjoy the Drury’s Kickback Reception at the hotel, which is a complete light meal.

Day 2 – Overland Park to Branson, MO
On our way we will stop at Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, the world’s largest immersive wildlife attraction. Exploring on your own, it boasts 35,000 live fish, mammals, reptiles, and birds, plus the most extreme wildlife habitats in the world. After lunch on your own, arrive in Branson and check into our home for the next 3 nights. Next, we’re guests for Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, where we’ll find a true fantasy land, complete with twinkling lights, evergreens, poinsettias, old-fashioned holiday costumes, Christmas music, and 32 magnificent horses. The elves from the North and South Poles will compete in some friendly competitions while serving up a festive, four-course feast for us to enjoy! A live nativity scene is both dramatic and spectacular, especially with the stunning beauty of angels and three kings riding atop camels! Tonight we are off to a fantastic show by Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers! Few entertainers and musicians can boast the accolades, success, and popularity as Jimmy Fortune – both on his own and as part of the legendary Statler Brothers.

Day 3 – Branson
Enjoy breakfast before the Hughes Brothers Family transports us to a Christmas Wonderland filled with the season’s best vocal harmonies, exciting dances, inspiring instrumentals, and light-hearted humor that everyone loves about the Hughes Brothers Show. Along with all the festive surprises and treasured family traditions, we’ll see Santa in a new light when he explains the symbols of Christmas in a moving Christmas presentation. Then after lunch at the Pickin’ Porch, we’ll head to the Clay Cooper’s Country Express for all styles of music including country, rock n’ roll, gospel, patriotic, and Christmas. The singing, dancing, and hysterical comedy will keep us on the edge of our seats from start to finish! Then it’s dinner at Hero’s Restaurant before a world class performance by the Dutton Family, featuring three generations of entertainers. After their regular musical standards, the family transitions into Christmas classics like “Carol of the Bells,” “Silent Night,” and “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” Our day ends by driving through the magical “Lights of Joy” Christmas display!

Day 4 – Branson
Our morning show finds the lighthearted & lovable Sanders family in their favorite place – small town NC’s Mount Pleasant Baptist Church – bidding a sad, but proud, farewell to their only son. Dennis has become a Marine and will be shipping out to serve his country in WWII. To wish him well and lift the spirits of the faithful congregation (that would be us) the Sanders Family is spearheading the annual Christmas celebration for their beloved church. With the help of their capable Reverend Oglethorpe, they’ll put on a righteous and rousing good ole time of a show, complete with inspirational hymns and uplifting Christmas carols. After lunch at McFarlain’s, we’re headed to the #1 Hits of the 60’s Show, featuring great hits by the Beatles, Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder, Sonny & Cher, Elvis Presley, The Temptations, The Supremes, and many more! After a buffet dinner, we’re guests at the beautiful Sight & Sound Theatre for the spectacular production of “David,” a timeless tale! Following remarkable triumphs and harrowing setbacks, a fervent warrior confronts his ultimate challenge: the battle within himself. The story will follow David from the Old Testament and his journey from shepherd to king to becoming a man after God’s own heart!

Day 5 – Branson to Overland Park, KS
Breakfast is served before we say goodbye to Branson & head north to the Steamboat Arabia Museum. When the mighty Steamboat Arabia sank near Kansas City on September 5, 1856, she carried 200 tons of mystery cargo. Lost for 132 years, its recovery in 1988 was extraordinary! Lying 45 feet deep beneath a Kansas cornfield, the Arabia’s payload was protected from light and oxygen and, thus, was remarkably well preserved. We’ll overnight in Kansas City.

Day 6 – Overland Park to Home
Rise and Shine! Eat a hearty, warm breakfast before we board the coach for our journey home. Enjoying the comradery with our newfound friends on the last leg of our journey.
