Day 2 – Oak Brook to Shipshewana, IN

We start the day with breakfast, then head to Joliet’s crown jewel— the historic Rialto Square Theatre. We’ll tour this opulent 1926 Vaudeville palace with its magnificent European architecture, enjoy a buffet lunch under the rotunda’s grand dome, and tap our toes during a live pipe organ concert! Then it’s off to Shipshewana, the heart of Amish country, where we’ll check into the charming Blue Gate Garden Inn. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a hearty family-style dinner followed by our first show featuring Brothers of the Heart! This powerhouse quartet, blending country, gospel, and harmony, is made up of four legendary voices: Jimmy Fortune, Bradley Walker, Ben Isaacs, and Mike Rogers. Walker takes lead on the mournful Hank Williams Sr. classic “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.” Fortune’s pristine tenor shines on the Vince Gill hit “Go Rest High on That Mountain.” Rogers delivers a spirited take on the O Brother, Where Art Thou hit “Man of Constant Sorrow;” and Isaacs’ warm voice revives the Don Williams’ hit “Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good.” These four, talented friends will put on quite the show!

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Hotel: Blue Gate Garden Inn (2 Nights)

Day 3 – Shipshewana

After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll step back in time on a guided tour through Amish farmlands and homesteads. Experience genuine hospitality as we’re welcomed into an Amish home for a tasty homemade lunch. The afternoon is yours—browse local shops, sample fresh baked goods, or visit the Menno-Hof Museum to learn about Amish and Mennonite life. Return to the Blue Gate for a wonderful dinner, then settle in for a second soul-stirring performance by Brothers of the Heart. Each member brings their own wealth of experience to the group, creating an intriguing combination of styles and influences. The result is a diverse collection that spotlights some of the best-loved gems on America’s musical landscape. Tonight’s setlist is unique, so no songs will be repeated from last night’s concert!

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4 – Shipshewana to Lake Geneva, WI

Rise and shine for one last Blue Gate breakfast before traveling to picturesque Lake Geneva. Our afternoon includes an interesting guided tour of the famed Yerkes Observatory, where science meets stargazing. There is much to see & experience here – it’s phenomenal! The Observatory is home to the world’s largest refracting telescope – the barrel of the telescope is 64 feet long & weighs six tons! Then we check in to Harbor Shores on Lake Geneva, where our rooms overlook the sparkling lake. Tonight a fantastic evening is in store at Rosewood! A delightful plated dinner awaits followed by their special show, Country Crossroads, specifically produced with R&J in mind! It will be a musical intersection of Classic Country, Southern Rock, and New Country. We’ll hear songs by Glenn Campbell, Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Zac Brown Band, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rodgers, Sugarland, James Taylor, Johnny Cash, The Chicks, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Brooks and Dunn, Shania Twain, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Lady A, Vince Gill, Pure Prairie League, Dwight Yoakam and Flatt Lonesome!
