We begin with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, one of the world’s largest museums dedicated to the celebration, preservation and interpretation of American music. For an artist in the country music field, induction into the CMHOF is the highest honor that can be attained. The very first inductees in 1962 were Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, Fred Rose, and Roy Acuff. Next up is a private tour of RCA Studio B, Nashville’s oldest surviving recording studio. This studio became known in the 1960’s for being an essential factor to the development of the musical production style and sound engineering technique known as the “Nashville Sound.” In the two decades the studio was in operation, Studio B produced 60% of the country music’s chart hits. The list of famous artists that have recorded here is mind-boggling! Not only will we get to stand in the very space where iconic artists recorded and experience the history behind the music, we’ll also have the opportunity to record our own group song! Then we’ll enjoy free time on Broadway, Nashville’s lively entertainment district, where you can explore, shop, and choose from a wide variety of restaurants – including Honky Tonks – for lunch on your own.
