Day 1 – Home to Lake Geneva, WI
Our gem-filled adventure starts out as we travel through the countryside to Lake Geneva. We’ll easily settle into our lakeview rooms at Harbor Shores, located just steps away from beautiful Geneva Lake! Tonight, we’ll head to the Rosewood for a farm to table dinner experience and “America’s Bandstand” show. This show takes us back to the sock hops, spotlighting Rockabilly, Doo-Wop and Motown artists, songs and the history of early Rock and Roll. Enjoy songs by Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Diana Ross, Neil Sedaka, The Everly Brothers and many, many more!

Day 2 – Lake Geneva
Enjoy a light breakfast before we board The Walworth for a scenic and unique US Mailboat cruise! For over 100 years, mail has been delivered around the lake by boat. This 2 1/2 hour cruise will take us around the entire lake as we watch the mail person leap off the front of the boat onto residents’ docks, deliver and collect the mail, before jumping back aboard the back of the moving Walworth! Truly exciting and unique! After disembarking, lunch is served at Popeye’s, a local, popular restaurant located in downtown Lake Geneva. Then we will visit the Lake Geneva Museum, which captures the history of the Geneva Lakes Area over many decades to the present. The artifact collections of furniture, clothing, boats, instruments, and more are items from the area, most of which have been donated by residents whose families have made the whole area what it is today. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel to freshen up. Tonight we’re guests at The Dancing Horses Theatre for a tasty dinner and a dazzling spectacle featuring an array of horse breeds who perform alongside their trainers in a fantastic cavalcade of equestrian artistry. Created from one person’s vision and their infinite love for horses, the show is meant to evoke memories that many of us have from childhood.

Day 3 – Lake Geneva
Following a light breakfast, we’ll travel to Safari Lake Geneva, a unique wildlife preserve that is home to animals from around the world. It is not a zoo nor a theme park, but instead a refuge for the world’s diminishing breeds, allowing them to roam the vast acreage and interact with other animals, oftentimes in herds, much as they would in their ancestral homelands. The next stop will be at Lake Geneva Country Meats. Here we will sample “everything Wisconsin!” Sausages, cheeses and wine, with an opportunity to purchase your favorites. Next will be free time for you to grab lunch in downtown and perhaps do a little shopping. Then we will visit the incredible Yerkes Observatory, home to the world’s largest refracting telescope. The barrel of the telescope is 64 feet long & weighs six tons! There is much to see & experience here. After freshening up at the hotel, dinner is served at Lake City Social. Tonight, you can choose to walk along the shoreline path past impressive homes both old and new, settle onto a bench and take in the lake view, or relax on your room’s balcony.

Day 4 – Lake Geneva to Home
After breakfast we bid beautiful Lake Geneva farewell and begin our journey home. We will make stops along the way, and have an included lunch before arriving home having made new travel friends and fondly remembering Lake Geneva’s Gems!
