Day 1 – Home to Delavan, WI
All aboard for a wonderful Christmas tour! Enjoy getting to know your traveling companions as we travel today to Delavan, WI. We’ll dine in style at the beautiful Rosewood. Sit back and enjoy a fabulous meal and then be entertained by Mark & Gretch as they perform “Christmas Remembered,” featuring the most well-loved hymns, carols, and holiday songs. We’re sure to get into the Christmas Spirit as we’re invited to join in and sing along!

Day 2 – Delavan to Shipshewana, IN
We travel to Shipshewana today, with a stop for lunch on our own along the way, ready to take in all that Shipshewana has to offer. This is Amish country – a perfect fit for our Christmas journey! Once we’ve checked into our lovely suite rooms at the Blue Gate Garden Inn, we’ll head downtown Shipshewana for a fabulous, family-style dinner. Tonight we’re treated to an evening of our favorite Christmas Carols and Classics with us as the featured singers, along with several of our favorite Gospel Music Artists – Greater Vision, The Whisnants, The Mark Trammell Quartet, Jim & Melissa Brady, and The Mylon Hayes Family! It’s an evening of music, laughter, hope, joy, and inspiration, as we celebrate The Reason for Christmas! It’s not a typical concert… It’s a worship experience… It’s Gerald Wolfe’s Gospel Music Hymn Sing’s Carols of Christmas!

Day 3 – Shipshewana
This morning after another wonderful breakfast, we will visit the Menno-Hof Museum, where we’ll learn about the faith and life of Hutterites, Amish, and Mennonites! Menno-Hof’s multi-image presentations, historical environments, and colorful displays take us on a fascinating journey inside the unique world of the Hutterites, Amish, and Mennonites. Then we’ll have some free time in downtown Shipshewana for some lunch, shopping, buggy rides, or checking out the fully restored antique carousel inside the Davis Mercantile building. This afternoon we’ll head to Blue Gate’s newest musical, “Christmas Rush.” Recently-widowed salesgirl Alice and her daughter Katie are desperately seeking the one thing that makes Christmas… Christmas. Down to their last dime and last hour, they hatch two secret plans that put them on a collision course with disaster that only a Christmas Eve miracle will solve. But time is running out! Attention shoppers, the store is closing in five minutes… and all Alice needed was 3 more hours, 2 more gifts, and one small miracle!! This evening we enjoy an Amish buffet dinner, followed by “Dean Z: The Ultimate Elvis Christmas” show, featuring Elvis’ greatest hits and classic holiday songs!

Day 4 – Shipshewana
We’ll start our day with a scrumptious breakfast then head to an Amish wood crafting business where we’ll try our hand at basket making – bringing our creation home with us. Then homemade goodness will melt in our mouths as we’re guests for a Thresher’s lunch at an Amish home! This afternoon we’ll head out on a half day Amish Tour, making stops at Silver Star Leather, Dutch Country Market, and Fry’s Buggy Shop. After we enjoy a family style dinner, we are treated to musical excellence as we’re entertained by the phenomenal Collingsworth Family! Their concert will be filled with remarkable piano & trumpet playing, singing, and more!

Day 5 – Shipshewana to Oakbrook Terrace, IL
Enjoy a wonderful breakfast before we make our way to the exciting Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, Indiana to experience the story of one of the world’s foremost automotive makers. We’ll see a variety of automobiles, wagons, carriages, and military vehicles related to the Studebaker Corporation. Next, we’ll stop for lunch on our own. Then, if time allows, we’ll go to Oakbrook Shopping Center, which is a premier open-air shop destination that will be decorated with twinkling lights and festive displays. Arriving in Oakbrook Terrace, we’ll check in to the newly renovated Hilton Garden Inn. Tonight, we’ll walk across the parking lot to enjoy a delicious dinner, then watch a live performance of the heartwarming musical “Annie.” Be delighted with cheer, optimism and the power of love at the beautiful Drury Lane Dinner Theatre.

Day 6 – Oakbrook Terrace to Home
After breakfast we’ll begin our journey home. There will be time to reminisce about the fantastic time we’ve have had together – all the wonderful Amish things we have experienced, the delicious food we’ve partaken in, and the amazing entertainment we’ve enjoyed!

We’ll enjoy some of the best Amish/Mennonite cooking around, attend memorable concerts filled with Christmas music, shop at the Riegsecker Marketplace for locally crafted items, and explore the interesting Menno- Hof Museum to learn all about the faith & life of Amish and Mennonites!
